If you could use some type of super-human power and see me through this computer screen, you would see the biggest smile across my face. Maybe you saw it on twitter, maybe you didn’t,,, but I just spent the last 4 hours with a bunch of fourth graders and a whole lot of nail polish… AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE.
Recently on social media, I have participated in many ‘TBH’ things (idk what to call them) from many different types of people, and each time I get the same up-lifting and lovely message.
Almost all of them call me “positive” and “encouraging” and honestly I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the messages. One gal even asked me HOW I’m so positive and so I decided to write a blog post about it.
For many years, the word ‘messy’ has always been a word in my vocabulary. Messy hair, messy heart, messy words, messy school supplies, and especially, messy room. No part of my life has ever been “perfect and put together.” — and because of that I spent a few months held back in chains because I felt like I had to be perfect.
